    Today’s birds

    A nice stroll around woodland adjacent to Grange Park Golf club. Had a great 5 minutes alone with a male kestrel close up, large group of chaffinch, a number of goldfinch, long tail, blue and great tit, a fieldfair and six redwing. Pleasant test of the new bins’

    Nuthatch

    I worked recently in a care setting adjacent to Taylor Park in St Helens which has a bird feeder. They were regular visitors though I’ve never seen them when out and about.
