    Swarovski EL 8.5x42 servi

That is right. Not so he realizes that focus wheels like the trinovids ba and bn can even last 30 years.

Why buy SFL 8x40 and not Conquest 8x32?

For low light situations this may be true. On the other hand, I did not really miss a 42 for observations durung the day with a 32 bin. And also eye place comfort is worse with some 42s than with some 32s.

    Swarovski sellers dilusional?

When I got my ELs, I went out of my way to get new-old-stock of the pre-FieldPro version to get non-proprietary strap mounts. with the NLs there are already adapter. so you can use your own straps. I am not a friend of the field pro versions too. But at least the lock has not yet been released...

    Swarovski sellers dilusional?

Wow. You got two of them. However, the 42's cost considerably higher than the 32's. On Swaro's website 8x42 costs €2,850.00 while 10x32 costs €2,440.00. yes.that is right. I sold the 42 again. i bought the 32 each for 1900€.

    Swarovski sellers dilusional?

it is a smaller business that trades in weapons. Non of the big shops you can find on goo…. cause i have been buying my binoculars ( Swarovski and Zeiss ) there for a very long time, i get pretty good prices without haggling. but i should not hang it on the big bell. I think prices called on the...

What’s about Reviews of the NL 10x32

It took some time but then the NL 10x32 still came. first i have to mention that i am not a friend of 10 times enlargement, cause I shake too much. I had before SLC 10x42 and EL 10x32. After i have 8x32 i was too corious how the 10 times performs. i could only try for a short time so far. But...

A Field Review of NL 8x32

Hello Lee, thanks for the great review. I can almost agree on everything, although i consider some minor weak points to be not so significant. The rainguard is really much too tight. It does not bother me cause i am using winged eye cup. The field pro strap is an answer to a completely...

    Nikon SE 8X32

The SE from Germany has been discontinued quite for long time. It is way too expensive for my term. I has not long ago mine on ebay and just 500€ achieve.

    New Swarovski 7x Binocular

So for me the Curio fits much better than my small UV. I trink that is different for everyone. I also have the VP. The optics are really very good. But it cannot really compete with a good 32er. A 32er usually has a much better “ Einblickverhalten“, bigger field of view, Biggi focusknob, is...

    New Swarovski 7x Binocular

I have VP and Leica UV also and can only confirm this. For me much more pleasant are the Swaro Curio and Swaro CL Pocket and also Kowa Genesis 22. Loddar

    6 January 2022 - New Leica announcement

I was just on the Leica HP and it is probably a new Geovid 3200. what a pity. I had also hoped for the little Noctivi. Loddar

    New Swarovski 7x Binocular

Short update: i will send the binoculars back. There a still a few things that bother me on closer inspectio. First the the very difficult to move eyecups, then fingerprints on the objective, something loose rubber at an objective which can cause reflexes (see photo) and incredibly the labeling...

Yes, they fit exactly. You have to apply light pressure. But nothing bad. Loddar

    New Swarovski 7x Binocular

Trank you. I meant the bridge is not really loose but for me clearly too light. In this respec, the Leica UV and the Trinovid are perfect. Maybe I will send both Swaros, the Curio and the Pocket to Absam for improvemen. I feel much more annoying that the eyecups could not be turned out and i...

    New Swarovski 7x Binocular

The curio arrived this morning. I had a hard time buying because it was actually too expensive for me. It is terribly more expensive than Leica UV. But what do you want to do if you love little bins. The packaging has the size of the cl pocket. The bag for the Curio is a bit big. Then the first...

    New Swarovski 7x Binocular

I recently ordered the Curio. It had to arrive at me soon. I am really excited about the perfomance. Think but it is a real Swaro and hope that the weather plays along and I can compare it. Loddar

    The three Trinovids battle

yes. That is correct with the diopter adjustment. If I want to adjust the diopter and focus to infinity it is hardly possible to adjust right depending on the vision. Adjusting the diopter and focus to infinity position is possible with the Trinovid. But the UV is completely waterproo, the focus...

    The three Trinovids battle

Hi dorubird, thanks for the nice report and your pictures. i am a big fan of small good optics too. Take them mainly for city trips, sightseeing. I also recently got the Trino. Apparently fresh from the factory. I also have the ultravid and a small Zeiss Victory and a Zeiss 8 to 20 Classic. The...

    Just received a 10x42L

@66 on idealo at the moment around 1400€. And partly probably not availabl. Mine is a showcase model from a dealer about 100 km away where I saw it by chance and just briefly took it in my hand and looked throug. Size of a brick and also heavy. But optics is probably promising. and as they so...

    Scratch or Dust

Hallo ticl2184, you probably mean the bright dot. i think it is dust behind the lenses. i had that with an new SLC 8 to 42 too. Only with several dots and still dirt outside on the lenses. I sent it back. The new one is ok. The same with a SLC 15 to 56. And my two NL 8 to 42 had loose rubber on...

    Just received a 10x42L

I did it too. i ordered a 10 to 42L. first I wanted to buy Swaro NL 10 to 42 or NL 10 to 32 with forehead rest. I had NL 8 to 42 and unfortunately a lot v.g. And the small NLs seem to have a problem with that too. Therefore I wanted to buy then SLC 42 or 56 in 10. but somehow I have to admit to...
