    That is exactly the thing the dealer was referring to, the reason why it does not fit for birding. I do not have the BTX experience, that is why I’m asking.

    Yeah, same here in Finland, during last five years I have seen BTX only once, and it was owned by a birder who just started birdwatching. That is why I'm interested if someone is using it for real HC birding.

    Upgrade to TSN-88 from TSN-883?

    I’m seeking the best image quality with easy function. I think swaro 95 would be the best choice per image quality but I do not like the focusing mechanism in the Swaro telescopes. I see also that TSN-99 have had some issues on the production quality, so maybe 88a would be in the sweetspot?

    I have had TSN-883 for ten years and I have been very happy with it. I’m a keen birdwatcher. Now I’m thinking that would it be worthwhile to upgrade, maybe to 88 or 99? Or should I look maybe Swarovski 95mm or 115mm? What do you think?

    The new TSN-883 neoprene case

    I bought awhile ago Swaro ATX case (SWAROVSKI ATX 95 SPOTTING SCOPE CASE) for my Kowa 883. I use it when I have to transfer the scope in a carrying bag etc. On the tripod, I use the scope bare without any case. This setup works for me.

    I removed first two ridges --> no help, still the the eye cups were pulled up. Then I removed two more, waited couple of months if it would settle / loosen up, but no help still. Then I removed them all, now it seems to work so as expected.

    Swaro UTA work with NL Pure?

    I have UTA and use it with NL Pure. I would say that yes, it works but it is not so tight as it should be (as it is with EL binos). I hope that swaro will provide a new strap designed especially for NL Pures in the future.

    I have had my NL Pure 8x42 for four months now and I have found the headrest pretty useless in the wintertime. You cannot use it with beanie and also it feels cold when you place it to your forehead - very unconfrontable. Maybe in the summertime when you dont have to wear beanie it would be useful.

    I have been using my NL Pure 8x42 about a month now, and I'm still pretty impressed. I have not noticed any issues with glare (I'm wearing glasses while using the binos) or have faced any downsides on the optics whatsoever. So, I'm super happy with the NL Pure 8x42 and not looking back.
