    Blue Tit & Great Tit sharing a nest box

    This is happening with me. A great tit started roosting in September, it’s now April and is still roosting every night even though a nest is being formed. He just snuggles down in the material. Pretty sure it’s a great tit taking in nesting material.

    Hi I have had a blue tit roosting since last November and left about a week ago. Although there was a lot of activity last month round the box nothing since the bird left? It has been very cold in the north west until a few days ago and wondered if there is still a chance of them nesting

    Hi just joined . I have has a blue tit roosting from November till a week ago in my bird box. Although there was a lot of activity last month around the box nothing since the bird left. I live in the north west and it has been cold till the last few days and wondered if that had put of nesting.
