    ? Warbler New Jersey, USA

Had a mixed flock including the usually Chickadees, Titmice, Downey Woodpecker as well as a few Pine Warblers, a Black and White Wabler and a Black-throated Green. Wasn't sure about this one. Its the only shot I got of him/her. Sussex County, New Jersey USA, August 27. Thanks

    A couple more from Ecuador

Thx Avery. One question for you, Many-spotted seems like a good fit for #1 except for the light color at the tip of the tail. Most of the photos I looked at online had no white/tan. A couple had only a tiny amount. Do you feel that's within normal range of variation for a Many-spotted?

    Ecuador Seedeater

From my memory our guide had called these Band-tailed Seedeaters. Reviewing the images I was leaning towards Plain-colored Seedeaters. The first three are the same bird. The 4th may be the same bird - it was taken 8 minuets after the earlier ones. Antisana Ecological Reserve, Ecuador, Napo...

    Ecuador Thistletail?

The Fern - looked at adding a photo to the opus but not sure how to go about it (or if it needs to be done as an editor). If you are willing to add them, feel free to copy my photos if that is possible. If you can't download from here they should be available from my flickr site

    Ecuador Thistletail?

Thanks for the input. (Sry about the Spinetail - Thistletail confusion. Staying up to late reviewing my photos.)

    Ecuador Thistletail?

Cayambe-Coca National Park. Not sure which part of the park we were in when I took these photos but we started at Papallacta Napo Province. Birds were seen in same general area. First 3 images possible White-chinned Thistletail (not Spinetail as originally posted) . 2nd three images are a...

    Ecuador Hummingbirds

Thanks all for the input. Wish I had additional views of 352 to help confirm. For what its worth our tour list of hummingbirds we saw at that location that day did not include either Metaltail but one might have been there and not ID'd at the time.

    Ecuador Hummingbirds

Guango Lodge, Papallacta, Napo, Ecuador. March 2023. I think first 2 and maybe the 3rd are the same species. Was thinking 4 and 5 may be Buff-tailed coronet with flash making crown gold instead of green.

Ecuador Flycatcher, Hummingbirds and bird on a wire

Thx Niels and Fern. The Brownish coloring on 115 was throwing me. Agree with the Thrush on 79 - after seeing your ID it reminded me of when I took the shot. Hard to remember them all when after 8 days in Ecuador I got home with about 3000 photos. It was hard to balance the birding/keeping...
