    Small bird on Essex coast, UK

    Found a small flock of birds the other week on a coastal marsh in Essex and was wondering if anyone knows what they were? I was thinking they were Twite as they winter in Essex however my photos are kinda bad. Any ideas?

    Unkown sea bird in Britain

    On the East coast of England in October, I saw a bird but I'm not certain what it is. The wings were long and narrow. It had dark wings and back that contrasted with a white belly and tail. The bird had quite a big wingspan as well. I also took a few very poor photos of it...
