    Thanks Phillipp, They look similar to some Swift models. The number JB 133 plus serial number is shown . Looks like there is a screw threaded clip which keeps the lens in. Photo doesn't show fungus very well but I have cleaned the exterior of the lens and something still shows on the inside...

    The aFOV is set by the field stop diameter and eyepiece focal length given by the equation: aFOV=2arctan(r/fe). Should' r ' read field stop radius rather than diameter?

    OK thanks, it's interesting that some older Porro designs like the Minolta range had a much wider fov than some modern roof prism types but of course they were heavier and less compact.
