    Fairbanks Birding

We have an extra day in Fairbanks before the start of the land portion of our cruise in mid-August. Staying at the Princess Riverside Lodge. Any suggestions for birding on our own for a day or part thereof? In advance, thanks.

    Hello from State College, Pa

Nice to have just discovered BirdForum. Wife and I enjoy birds but are not "twitchers" by any sense. Have been blessed to see birds in East Africa on several safaris and twice to Costa Rica besides our backyard ones. Looking forward to land/cruise to Alaska later this summer.
