    Been to Dryslwyn after work today and had 2 Treecreeper 2 Tree Sparrow 12 Goosander 6 Little Ringed Plover 6 Sand Martins plus 2 Curlew. Plus the normal Tits and other stuff. Loving the light evening

    Diamondback fogging up again

    Cheers for the info when I was looking at buying my first bins these where the best I could find for the price. Just starting to lose feth in them if they change them it be my 3rd pair in just over 2 years

    Hi was wondering if anybody else as had any problems with the 8x42 Diamondback. I have just sent my second pair back drew to one lens fogging up again.

    New year and 2 new life ticks

    Spent 4 hours at WWT Llanelli and got 2 new life ticks in the form off Brambling and Red Breasted Merganser in fact there was 4 of them but they where out on the estuary. Weather turned bad after the first 20min of being there but still ended up with 53 ticks.

    Evening Rich this weather is starting to get the better of me this month when I do get a day of its raining lol and like you said with the high winds you know where you want to go but it doesn't mean you end up there lol

    Evening all as anybody been out this weekend birding ? been busy this weekend so not had chance to do any birding but I did have 3 Jays on the farm track this morning when I went out.

    First Sea Watching

    Had 3 hours down Port Eynon had a new life tick in the form of a Common Scoter 40+ of them. Maybe a Little Auk but not 100% sure. Lots of Kittewakes and BHG and a few GBBG.

    Where to go ?

    As the CBC outdoor meet is cancelled this coming Saturday 5th due to the weather.Is there anywhere in Carmarthenshire that is good for a spot of sea watching, I never done it before.

    Due to the Weather Forecast promising winds in excess of 40mph for Saturday and possible heavy rain showers. our planned visit to Whiteford Burrows is postponed until Sat.19 December.

    CBC next out day meet 05/12/15

    CBC next outdoor door meet 05/12/15 Due to no suitable tides in January or February 2016 we will visit Whiteford Burrows on 5 December 2015. Meet at 9.30am in Cwm Ivy car park. High tide is at 13.15hrs approx. Please see details above if in any doubt about the weather.

    Who in the area.

    Hi Merlin I will have to look them place up always on the look out for new place to visit. I know Rich am got my fingers crossed it's miss us. Just had 4 days off and didn't get out once with all this rain so am really hoping it goes ahead Saturday.
