    I have just popped out and had a look at my Delphiniums they have started to develop small seed heads in the centre other wise similar to yours the texture of the petals is also identical to your flower

    I am not that end now I used to live in the Aude and Pays Basque now Bearn. Ariège is a great place to be spring and early summer

    I am 69 I remember the 50's and 60's on the edge of a city. There were cows at the bottom of the garden Sticklebacks in the local stream, all disappeared in a short time, the stream in a pipe and pasture into houses I had to cycle further out to see wildlife but there was masses butterflies...

    Hi Perhaps I went over the top on migratory but they must have been or very old to be where they are, some sites indicate East Spain I am not far from their sites, when the space station goes overhead Corsica is above my horizon I took 80 frames Sport on a Macro lense for my half dozen pictures

    Thank you Andy I agree its not H. dahlii I had thought the thorax markings would identify the moth as this photo I now realise the extra black spots are missing as herein the first photo shown as stars The third photo shows its pink under colour This french site was interesting...
