Which one to choose for my first spotting scope?

I have had a few Spotter's over the years and my go to full size Spotter is rthe Meopta S2 82 Angled with a 20-70 eyepiece. Amazingly bright and the edge to edge clarity is phenominal. Two of my friends who have borrowed mine are now S 2 owners. Truly tough to beat the quality Meopta brings tot...

Help with compact 30/32mm Alpha Choice

I own MeoStar B1 Plus 8x32 and absolutely love them. I got them for my wife as a gift that also included a Rhine River cruise and they proved to be a big hit with everyone who looked through them. Luckily I had lot of lens wipes for everyone who tried them out. A buddy who raved and brought his...

Meopta Meopro HD 8x32--first impressions and thoughts

Richard, I love my 8X56 MeoPro binos. As you would expect, they are great in low light, and we are very impressed with the clarity and ease of focusing. I also have the MeoStar B1 Plus 8x32. I love them! I got them as a gift for my wife for a European River cruise. We love how easily they fit...

    Errant high mag rumblings.

I have the Meopta MeoPro HD 80 and I'm very happy with it. I looked thru a lot of spotters before choosing the Meopta, many costing a lot more. For the price, Meopta brings you a lot of quality.

    My Most Important Binoculars?

I have the Meopta MeoStar B1 Plus 8X32 and love them. Excellent clarity and easy to focus. I bought them for a Rhine River trip with my wife, knowing they'd find their way into my back pack later. Their function was outstanding as we cruised past castle after castle through the occasional patch...

    Meopta Meopro HD80

You will love the S2 Spotter from Meopta. I have let two friends use mine, and both now have their own. I have also used Meopta's Meopix Uni 2 with my iPhone to photograph Raptors. I was surprised at how well it works for the price. I know everyone has their own opinion. I don't think you can...

Maven B1.2 or Meopta MeoPro Air?

I am in the same boat. I don't see spending more money when what I am going to get isn't going to be an improvement over the MeoStar B1 Plus binos. I have yet to have someone look through mine and not be impressed, especially when they find out how much they cost! I just got Meopta's MeoStar S2...

Need your suggestion about birding binocular, I plan to buy a Meopta B1, not B1.1

I borrowed a friend's MeoStar B1 Plus 8x42 binos last year to watch waterfowl. I used them for about 2 weeks, many times early in the morning at first light and I was very impressed. Amazing light-gathering which is a known Meopta trait but also the field of view and the clarity let me...

    The way to MY binocular

A vote for the Meopta MeoStar B1 Plus 8-x10/42 binos. I have had the 8x42 for 18 months now and just purchased the 12x50's and they are equally impressive. For low light viewing, it's the larger exit pupil of the 8's that win, but for sunrise to sunset, the 12's are everything I wanted them to...

New for 2020 Meopta Meopro Air Binoculars

Wonder if not enough quantity for the US site? I did find the tan and orange MeoStar B1 Plus bino's on the US site. Only 1 tan and 2 orange left. https://meopta.store/collections/meostar-b1-plus

New for 2020 Meopta Meopro Air Binoculars

The diopter does not lock on my 10x42's. There IS Fluoride in the 8 and 10X MeoPro Air HD bino's and the FOV on the 8's is 140 meters at 1000 meters. The 10's are110 meters at 1000 meters. Eitan., thanks for the math help.

New for 2020 Meopta Meopro Air Binoculars

I do not think so. If anything I think the 8 is brighter, to my eyes, than the 10's I have. If I could only have one pair, it would be the 8's, hands down. I use them for waterfowl scouting in the early morning and late evening as well as watching cattle.

New for 2020 Meopta Meopro Air Binoculars

I get it about the inaccuracies, but I can assure you, the 8X MeoStar Plus model does not have fluoride lenses. I was told that because they are 8X magnification that the difference was imperceptible, unlike on higher magnification binos. I have the 8X and I truly think they are the best binos...

I noticed on the Meopta E-Sales site that they have Tan and Orange MeoStar Plus binos. Quantity says 2 of each.

    New MeoStar B1 Plus Binoculars

I hope this is less confusing for you guys than it was for me? This is according to Meopta: The glass in the MeoPro Air is equivalent to the glass used in the MeoStar binoculars, NOT the MeoStar HD binoculars. MeoStar HD uses fluoride objective lens elements. MeoPro Air uses HDED+ glass...

    New MeoStar B1 Plus Binoculars

The MeoPro Air 8x42 and 10x42's have arrived! I have only read positive comments from this open hinged offering from Meopta but it looks like so far so good!

    New MeoStar B1 Plus Binoculars

According to a friend of mine in the know, The MeoPro Air is the next evolution in the MeoPro binocular and will replace the current MeoPro HD series. Much better glass and better design. The B2 is going to be the next evolution of the MeoStar binocular out in 2022 and will take the place...

Nikon WX 10x50 IF 100th Anniv. Edition

No speculation here. I haven't decided if I want to sell it or not. Just asking for guy's thoughts, many have sent messages and some good ideas. Item was left to me by a friend.

Nikon WX 10x50 IF 100th Anniv. Edition

Nikon doesn't have any at all to move is what I was told, especially the Anniv issue ones. Mine is still in the box unopened. Have not looked through them but I have looked through a non-Anniv issue pair and they are amazing.
