    I'm not sure about your chances of seeing Dotterel at the Cairnwell, but thought I'd just make you aware, in case you're travelling from the south, that the A93 is closed overnight from 8pm. Currently this is only until 23rd June, but you may want to check it nearer the time.

    I've found quite a few reports of sightings of Hen Harriers in the same area as mine (around Fannyside Lochs, between Cumbernauld and Slamannan).     Thank you. It was quite distant, and flew out of sight before I could get a better photo. Hard to gauge size, but I would say bigger than a sparrowhawk but smaller than a buzzard.
