    Hi all, I also had Peregrine perched on St Mary's Church, Market Square in Lichfield last summer. I was until recently a Lichfield resident and am confident they are in the area. Never reported it though, more fool me :-/ Damian.

    I've got Dunnocks which are doing ok and had Robin until a couple of days ago. Looks like the young perished and the adults have abandoned the nest. No idea why they failed.     Well, I managed to connect with the bird on Thursday before work and then again this morning. Today's encounter was much more satisfying though, allowing decent views so I could pick out the salient field marks. Well chuffed!!!

    Great Grey Shrike at Cannock Chase on 17/01/14. I had searched in vain for three hours when another birding couple found it just as I was leaving. Got it at the second attempt (they were ont heir sixth attempt) so feel blessed with that! :-)
