    Red-footed Falcon , aging

First is a 2cy male. The other one is a female but I can't be sure on the age, perhaps a 3cy?

Wheatears on Lesbos between 9th and 12th May

If Western Bonelli's and Melodious Warblers can turn up in the Balkans then W Black-eared surely can too, but these aren't it.

Wheatears on Lesbos between 9th and 12th May

    1-5 Eastern Black-eared, 6 Northern

A bit of a strange pipit

Mantle streaking seems weak for an RTP to me, I'd call it a worn Meadow Pipit

eBird Enhancements and Birds of the World

I also see don't understand the free BoW part, the hompage shows Free Preview accounts and an introductory discount. Thankfully, I am a reviewer. EDIT: Ok, just realized we are getting close to May Big Day so it'll probably be free for a short period.

Which Warbler? Iran, Qazvin, Apr. 2024

    Nothing wrong with Common Reed

    Harrier, but Hen or Pallid?

I wouldn't say you got any 'confirmation' here either way but you should certainly report it, it'd certainly be of interest.

    Harrier, but Hen or Pallid?

It's a 2cy female, either Pallid or Hen×Pallid hybrid... I think I'd lean towards the latter with that broad wing (esp. hand), although the 5th finger isn't too prominent.

Odd Wheatear on Paphos last week?

It might be the quality of the photos but this doesn't strike me as Finsch's. As already mentioned the pp looks too long and the tail band apparently gets broader at either side.

    Warbler, Side, Turkey

Hi, It certainly could be, but at least I don't know of any safe way to distinguish between the ssp without measurements and/or DNA (except for 'grey morph' fuscus probably). Perhaps others might be more helpful.

    Curruca crassirostris from Egypt?

It's very clear from the video, and the second still, that the crown is only negligibly paler than the eye-surround, which would be typical for an E Orphean. The suggestion of a pale crown in the first still in OP is obviously an effect of light.

    Passerine in EVOA, Portugal

Surely a Zitting. Grasshopper W would have fuller undertail coverts and different head structure.
  13. kuzeycem

    Curruca crassirostris from Egypt?

Agreed with Eastern Orphean. Bill too big and 'cap' too dark for any Lesser Whitethroat-type. Many non-adult-male Eastern Orpheans show dark eyes. Hypocolius doesn't have a contrasting white throat, nor a dark cap, so not sure what to say there.

    Identify this pipit

    It's a Tawny Pipit
  15. kuzeycem

    Warblers - Samarkand, Uzbekistan

    Both are still Lesser Whitethroats
  16. kuzeycem

    Pipit ID. Shirza, Iran

I doubt coutelli would venture anywhere near SE Asia?
  17. kuzeycem

    Wheatear from Oman

Wings too long, underparts too white.
  18. kuzeycem

    Savi's Warbler or Cetti’s Warbler?

It is a Savi's; throat-streaking and the somewhat strong pattern of the UTCs are both within variation and apparently more regular in ssp. fusca. Also note the more russet coloration and thinner bill than River.

    Different species / Azerbaijan

Last one looks like Common Chiffchaff to me. Agreed with Alexander Stöhr on rest.
  20. kuzeycem

Which Spotted eagle species? Location: kanwalit, punjab, pakistan

Wings look broad to me, wouldn't rule out GSE (in fact, I think I'd favor it)

    Warbler 2 - Cyprus

I was talking about the weblink (post #10) but I didn't notice it was taken in the UK. If it is a CW it has an awfully short primary projection. The OP bird is definitely a Lesser Whitethroat. Sorry about the confusion (and my hasty judgement on the weblink bird)
  22. kuzeycem

    Warbler 2 - Cyprus

It's a Spectacled Warbler (but this has nothing to do with the eye-ring)
  23. kuzeycem

    merzouga morocco

Tree Pipit, note the stout bill with pinkish base
  24. kuzeycem

    Harrier - Bulgaria

Pallid for me. Pale boomerang on primary bases, broad primary barring.
