Problem with green coating of EL SV 8x32

These are my 8x32 EL SV after 3 years of use where they are cared for. Always returned to the case when not around my neck. Swarovski replaced armour FOC other than outgoing postage. Now, 5 years on, the armour is again splitting and in need of repair. Not what I expect from an alpha product.

    Canon G3X for Birding

I guess it depends what you’re looking for in a camera Neil. I wouldn’t be without mine. Had it a few years now. I brought it when they were first released. If I lost it today, I would replace it with another one tomorrow.

Google Pixel 2 & Swarovski scope

I use a Novagrade Universal Smartphone adapter. I keep my phone in its Otterbox permanently. I have adjusted the Novagrade adapter to accept the phone in the Otterbox Defender case. I prefer to keep my phone in it's everday case rather than swap cases when I go out birding.

    Canon G3X for Birding

Hi Windfire and Robert, Glad you are enjoying your GX3 cameras. I am still plugging away with mine and I am still very pleased with it. It has, like most cameras good and bad points, I feel for my type of photography and the way I use a camera, its plus points outweigh its negative points...

    Otter trail camera

I have updated my blog with details of my recent attempt to capture an otter on trail camera. The camera is an old Acorn camera. It has seen two years of use, was second hand when I purchased it, and the door flap to access the on/off switch is held on with insulation tape. This camera has been...

    Canon G3X for Birding

Thanks etudiant. I set the camera on mute when photographing badgers, so no sounds from camera. They are very accepting of the flash as long as it isn't repeatedly fired.

    Canon G3X for Birding

I have been using the Canon G3X as a general nature camera rather than a dedicated birding camera. I am stil pleased with the results. Recently I have been trying various ways to photograph badgers in almost complete darkness. http://http://moochersmoor.blogspot.co.uk/2016/10/a-privilege.html?m=1

Hi, I have the iPhone 6S and it is in a Otterbox Commuter protective case. Which Novagrade adapter did you purchase? The Compact, which comes with a a selection of different grips that you mix and match to get the best grip on your phone. The Standard has a longer support arm for the phone...
