    Last year (mid may) I had quite a few Nightjar around Google Maps also plenty of Woodcock + Tree pipit but the clearing change so do check when your their for a raptor watch what clearings look good

    Thanks for the tips got all bar Ring Ouzel so very successful. Dipper on the river at Dunsford by the bridge after just arriving was great. 1 nightjar at Ideford Common but great views in flight at dusk despite the chill.

    This Godwit? is throwing looks a bit different from the others bird I was seeing maybe a young bird mainly the stripe and the angle. YL Gull with the yellow legs or one of the Yellowed legged herring Gulls?

    This week someone mentioned to me that house martins are only having 2 broods rather than 3 which is obviously effecting their populations. But what been said about the building is correct Was over over in Ireland in the summer and them seemed to a healthier population at least on the west side...
