    Turnstone ?- Padstow, Cornwall - UK

    Hi all Can you confirm if this is a Turnstone? much darker colouring on the head than I can see in the books, but the beak doesnt look right for a Redshank either and these are only 2 I cn see with red legs. Photo taken end September in Padstow thanks in advance

    Corn bunting confirmation?

    We spotted this one on a fence last week as we were walking along the beach in South Uist. We identified as a Corn Bunting but also saw similarity for the Sky Larks - can someone confirm for us if this is a Corn Bunting?

    Conwy RSPb Sunday 9th Aug

    Tree Sparrow in North Wales?

    Checking my RSPB guide I see that Tree Sparrows are not found in Wales. However I am 99% sure I just saw one with some House Sparrows in our garden. The bird had the distinctive brown ruffled head cap. Is anyone else aware of sightings of Tree Sparrows in this area? many thanks

    Help identifying bird seem John O'Groats July 09

    Could you help me in identifying bird in attached photo? Bird was seen in the grass and jumped a few feet away each time we got nearer. when moving bird made a "chut chut" sound - however when he flew a more tuneful song. Any help would be greatly appreciated many thanks
