    Various birds - Portland parks and Oregon coast (May 2023)

    Apologies for the amount and the low quality of a couple. Got a lot of the birds on the trip identified (inc a first ever Bald Eagle) but these ones I'm not sure on.

    Gull, Walthamstow Wetlands (London) - 26th April 2023

    Looks like it's part way through changing plumage, and I'm pretty bad at the best of times with gulls - just wanted to check as it seemed a bit big for Common Gull (though it was by itself so difficult to tell) but beak doesn't seem to match Herring Gull.

    Small brown bird in flight, Rainham Marshes

    There was a little flock of these too far away and flying up from reeds and back down again quickly, but managed to get a shot of this one. Any ideas?

    Dunlin? Rainham Marshes

    Feeling like this might be a Dunlin but tail looks a bit off from other flight photos I've seen so thought I'd double check. Another wader of similar size too which I wasn't sure about.

    Goldcrest? Mile End, East London

    Pretty sure this is a Goldcrest but couldn't actually get sight of the top off its head - the rest seems to check out but wanted a second opinion.

    Waders, Maldon Essex

    Little one looks good for Redshank I think, not sure on the others though (probably all the same, but wanted to double check). Taken yesterday in Maldon, UK.

    Female Goosander? (Seahouses, UK - July 2022)

    I think this is good for a female Goosander (colour on the head seems to immediately cut off) rather than RB Merganser but just wanted to make sure.

    Small brown bird, Walthamstow Wetlands (5th July 2022)

    Saw this earlier, probably a juvenile as it looks a bit scraggly but not really sure. Call was like an ascending slide whistle kind of noise, hopped about a lot from branch to branch so was only able to get this shot.

    Iberian Chiffchaff, Regents Park, London

    I know there's one in the park at the moment, just wanted to confirm if this was it or not - song I was hearing seemed to match and was in the cricket pen area. Pictures aren't great, was taken around 7pm today with not very good light.

    Absolutely terrible with gulls, looking at what you'd normally see in the area I'd guess at Yellow Legged but any other ideas? Edit: added a photo of an adult too.

    Mediterranean Gull? And assorted waders. (Essex, UK)

    Is this a Med Gull in the first pic with the Godwits? Looks a fair bit different in the head to the other BH Gulls I saw. Also, in the large flock of waders I can see Black Tailed Godwits, Redshank and the odd Oystercatcher, can anyone spy anything else? My eyes are starting to cross looking at...

    Song or Mistle Thrush, Mile End Park (East London)

    Apologies for the bad photos, only had my phone with me. I was thinking Mistle Thrush for these as it seemed a little larger but try as I might I can still never seem to tell the difference when I'm out birding, especially without my glasses!

    I imagine it may well be a Tufted varient but just wanted to double check this. Spotted today in Victoria Park.

    Richmond Park, brown bird

    Richmond Park, brown(ish) bird Sorry for the terrible photo, it flew out of the long grass and this is all I could get. Thrush sized I think but the tail looks like it disqualifies itself from that - any ideas at all here? Thanks.
