    Two Hawks - Frederick Maryland April 8, 2022

    Hawk - Maryland

    This hawk was overhead at Blackwater NWR. I saw a Harrier a few times so in the moment I just assumed that was what it was. Now that I'm looking at the (grainy) images I don't think so. A juvenile Red Shoulder or juvenile Broad wing?? Thanks Marc

    I just got back from Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. I saw these 3 birds sitting in the water. I assume they are American White Pelicans but when I look at "AllAboutBirds" web site, Maryland is well outside their range map. what do you all think? Are they AWP? Is the range map wrong or...
