    Spotted Eagle owl

    This Owl has been roosting in my back yard at Ndeiya, some 44km North of Nairobi.In comparison to the same Species i had At Lake Baringo, this one looks paler.Just wondering if environmet plays a role when it come to plumage.

    :h?: I have been probably under estimating this. I cant tell how the wetland birds while incubating the egg will swim for feeding then get back to their nest to incubate the egg while feathers are wet or partially wet and still the egg manages to hatch.
