    Gannet resting up.

    Sometimes, something occurs which makes you glad to be alive. I came across this Gannet along the coast, that was resting-up for the day after some pretty rough seas along the northeast coast. Good luck and fair winds, my friend.

    Bird App - Sanderling

    20-25mph winds today: Gannet, Ringed Plover, Sanderling, Curlew, Oystercatcher, Redshank, 'Comic' Terns, Cormorant, Rock Pipit. Lovely deserted beach - too dreich for tourists.
