    Male downy woodpecker with yellow tinge

    I live in Quinte West, Ontario and today at the feeder we had a male downy with yellow tinged feathers. Is this a young one in the moulting stage or something else. Your help is appreciated

    Hello

    We are back yard birdwatchers and love going for walks by water to see water birds. Lots of bird feeders and garden plants to attract birds. We live in Quinte West, Ontario, Canada.
