    Rufous or Allen's Hummingbird

    Feels like one of the tow. I can't tell the difference. This is in Los Angeles area a few days ago. It kept coming back to the branch after short flights. Continued doing that for 15 minutes or so.

    Maui Forest Bird

    Any idea what this is? Found in woods up a mountain slope of Haleakala. Finch beak, but the coloring doesn’t seem to match any of the obvious choices. Thanks.

    Westchester NY - pair of what?

    I took this pic from a distance as these two birds were flying over. Rather large. The beaks are long and slightly curved down. Ibis? Wish I was a little closer and the light better.

    Maui Birding 2022

    Does anyone have suggestions for a good birding spot in Maui? We will be in the Lahaina area and I'm hoping for a couple short trips in that area. We have one trip to Haleakala and maybe a day to Hana and back. Any spots in Lahaina area? Thanks.
