    Objective Lens cover for Retrovid 10x40

    I just purchased from Amazon (about $10.00) a set of lens cover for my Retrovid 10x40. They fit pretty good and the rubber/plastic cover is somewhat soft so I'm not sure how well they will hold up long term. They are: 32mm Binocular/Monocular Objective Lens Caps Internal Diameter 46.5-48mm...

    Juvenile Cooper's Hawk

    Took this photo in the woods near my home. I'm pretty sure it's a Cooper's Hawk and not a Broad-wing Hawk. What I noticed about it were the claws on this bird. They look deadly and judging from the red stains on its feet which is probably blood stains from a recent meal, it knows how to use them.

    Took the following photo at extreme range at Edwin Forsythe NWR in Smithsville, NJ last weekend. I think it's a juvenile Red Tail Hawk that's starting to mature. Thoughts?

    Has anyone ever heard of an Albino Red-Tail Hawk?

    I've taken this photo 3 years ago at Bombay Hook NWR in Delaware. It was taken with a Nikon D500/500mm lens at extreme range. It looked like a Red Tail Hawk but it had only white and some black feathers. The attached photo was cropped, sharpened and converted from RAW to Jpeg, but no color...
