    Using filters on fieldscopes

    Hi All...I have just purchased my first ever fieldscope. I am wondering if filters are ever used when Digiscoping, such as a C.P. filter or even a simple UV one to protect the front lens. And if so, where does one purchase such a large filter with the correct threads? What I have is a D800E...

    Hello from Galway - s/h Nikon EDG advice please
