Pros
  • Brilliant, natural colours and razor sharp image. Nice and light to carry.
Cons
  • Awful front lens cap.
A very compact telescope that performs superbly. I\'ve just bought one and took it out for a trial on a dull day and the images were very pleasing. It is much lighter that the APO 77 but the images are just as sharp. It shares the dual focussing contrls of its larger cousin but on my 62 scope they were stiffer than my 77.

The case is very good quality but is longer than the telescope so the front end is inside the case.

My only gripe is the front lens cap which is rubber and held in place by four lugs. I found it difficult to remove and, if you put a protective filter on the front of the scope, the lens cap won\'t fit because the lugs are too long. My advice is to discard it and get a cheap 62mm front lens cap from a photo shop.
