A recent trip to Patagonia with my wife to photograph pumas has rekindled an interest in bird photography that I had for over 25 years. During that time I traveled to ~30 different countries and to all continents except Antarctica to photograph bird life. Before my recent hiatus (to pursue astronomy), I had a special interest in photographing birds in flight. Advances in camera technology, e.g., cameras that shoot anywhere from 40-120 fps, have made birds in flight photography more attractive than ever. I hope to chat with others who have an interest in this type of bird photography.
