This morning's entertainment as well. The Treble Lines is included because it is one of the variants with a light inner and dark outer wing.

Of the two micros, Schoenobius gigantella is longer than quite a lot of macros whereas Caloptilia robustella (not gen detted of course, I've no interest in such activity) is diddy.

John

Edit: of the two micros, the alleged Schoenobius gigantella is actually a Bee Moth, my thanks to Paul for the correction. JD

A rather tatty White-pinion Spotted this morning was only my second record. Rather more impressive, my second Puss Moth of the year. Pebble Hook-tip, Treble Lines (two of) and Alder Moth all NFY.

Sadly haven't got to any trapping sessions recently. Had hoped to go about 10 days ago at a local reserve but tested positive for Covid on my return from Greece, though felt okay.

Yesterday during a flora survey came across 6 Brown-silver Lines, Cinnabar, Diamond-back & Glyphipterix fuscoviridella.

Two NFY this morning: Figure of Eighty and Garden Carpet. Otherwise 3 Treble Lines and singles of Silver Y, Heart and Dart, Oak-tree Pug, Nut-tree Tussock and LBAM.

Edit: I had second thoughts about the pug and after some research it looks like Green Pug to me.

Netted Pug and Peach Blossom very much on my wish list . One day . Lovely set

Today's pictures below.

Opinions on the pug are welcomed though I believe the ID is now correct.
