    Fieldscope or Kowa?

I,m in the market for a smaller scope instead of carting around my big Opticron everywhere, 60-70mm I had set on the Nikon Fieldscope ed60 111 but then noticed a few Kowa tsn661 on ebay for a few more bucks. Has anyone used either or both scopes and is the Kowa waterproof? Neil

    Digiscoping with Nikon

I,ll be buying a Nikon fieldscope ed60. At some point i will want to attach a camera, i know you can get the adapter for DSLR but i dont have such camera. Anyone recommend a camera? Preferably with some kind of vocal shutter remote- its hard enough trying to focus!

    Fieldscopes

Hi does anyone know the difference between the "old" mk2 and mk3 fieldscope? Are they both waterproof and are the optics any better on the 3? I,m looking go buy one and set up a digiscoping arrangement so they must be HD. Thanks

    Nikon

Hi folks, i was looking to purchase a Nikon fieldscope ed 60 as its easier to cart around than my big scope. I noticed adapters for the coolpix s series and wondered if they were ok for digiscoping?
  13. W

    Is?

Yes but older ones much cheaper

    Is?

IS it a good idea to use a camera with built in IS? Was looking at some of the older cameras to use for digiscoping like the Pentax or Sony a550.
