    Holiday to Prague

On the 20th I'm going to Prague and it's surroundings for 10 days. It's not a birding holiday, but i will take my binoculars with me. Does anybody know of a good birding page for the Czech Republic, so i can know what birds i can expect to see, or if anyone has been there. Thanks

Hello Ian, The Albufera in October is at it's best, with all the migrants!! If you can't get there you have to go the Salobrar de Campos, a heaven for waders!!

Hello, despite the terrible heat here, I tried my new camera today, Nikon 4500, scope Opticron HR 66, in the Albufera , in Mallorca. Not many birds at the moment here, but they will soon be coming!!

    Advice for a newbie

I've got a HR 66, and I've just bought one of the last,as i was told, Nikon 4500. I'm just practising at the moment in the garden, the results been satisfactory for me, my problem is getting the rigth setting for the camera!!! I've made my own adapter, as they are rathe expensive.

    Digiscoping with the Opticron HR66ED

Opticron HR66 Hello, I've got a HR 66 telescope, and I've just bought a coolpix 4500. I've made my own adapter with a plastic tube, the type used in pluming, and the few photos that i've taken of the birds around the garden seem fine, but i don't use the zoom EP, a prefer the 28x
