    A first Painted Lady of the year managed to evade my camera but was still a welcome addition. After the boom year of 2019 it looks as if 2020 is going to be one of the worst years for this attractive species. 33/ Painted Lady. One seen near Harry's Park Wood 19/7/20.

    Something of a bumper day today with four species being added to the year list. Best of the haul were Dark Green Fritillaries which were my first in Northamptonshire.
