Trinovid 8x20 BCA vs Ultravid 8x20 BR

Had been thinking about purchasing something along those lines, so that's an interesting, and very useful comparison - thank you!

Which Spring migrants have you seen?

Heard a curlew on 23rd February here! (650' up between Harrogate & Skipton, North Yorkshire - mixed pasture, woodland & heather moorland). One also seen next day by neighbours' 13 yr old son.

    Pair of Red Kites

Great photo, shows the markings superbly 👍 Will never forget my first sighting of one & the sheer magnificence of it, 1995, was flopped on my back on bracken on a hillside about 6 miles N.of Ilkley (as the Red Kite flies!) while out walking my dog - one swooped right over me, really low, no...

Hi, came on here to try an ID bird (Rosy Starling?) seen in my N. Yorks UK garden this morning

But it seems like an excellent place with friendly people, so I think I might stay :) The last previous post in that part of the forum was 21 months ago, so will copy it here for more coverage, hope that's OK? "Think I might have just seen one (a Rosy Starling) breaking the ice on drinker in...

Think I might have just seen one breaking the ice on drinker in our garden in rural North Yorkshire! 650 feet up, pastureland/trees/bushy cover next to drinker. No pic, sady, as it caught me by surprise & flew off fairly quickly. Only thing is, what I saw looked a much plumper shape than photos...
