Zeiss Conquest...eye cups still an issue?

Apparently there were complaints that the eyecups didn’t extend long enough and the binocular had to be held back a bit from your eyes to properly focus (I’ve seen this issue expressed in several reviews of the binocular). In the USA Zeiss gives you the option of receiving the extended eyecups...

    My first pair, help please.

I’ve acquired quite a few new and used binoculars over the years. Leitz, Leica BAs, Hensoldt Dialyts, Zeiss Dialyts - Victory FLs - Conquest HDs from Germany; Kahles, Swarovski SLCs and ELs from Austria; and Nikon HGs and Vortex UHDs from Japan. I have also bought some used and new Chinese...

Zeiss Conquest...eye cups still an issue?

Thank you. I was lucky to get that in focus with an old manual lens.

    Kiwi

I was on multi-day backpacking trip. I got up very early in the morning and caught this kiwi strolling along the boardwalk near our hut. The small sensor on the camera and poor lighting didn't make for a spectacular shot. Rising up first thing in the morning paid off though, I ended up seeing...
