Turtle Dove or birds of interest

Hi I'm in Peterborough for the next few days (18th and 19th Aug) and going to do some birding. Will go to Rutland, but wondered if any Turtle Doves near Peterborough/Holme or other birds of interest I could pick up. Thanks Paul

Birding on the Costa del Sol (Malaga)

Apologies, quite right! Should check my predictive texting! Booted would be a lifer for me. Are they moving at this time or might it more likely be a local bird? Having seen the reserve near the airport on this forum site on my return home I wish I'd visited it!

Lesser Spotted WP I'd thought one would be seen eventually. The extensive woodland and wet Carr areas seem suitable but seeing one unless you knew where too look is a great chance encounter. I will keep looking!! Does anyone know if Nightjars have been seen in the park/heaths? Also perfect...

Today First Whitethroat today. One! Just one! I don't know why but I though with the gorse and scrub there'd be loads. Hearing 40+ in Sandwell I thought Sutton Park would be wall to wall! Are they down generally? Too early? The Heath/scrub not their optimum habitat- i'd have thought perfect...
