    Red-cockaded Woodpecker

Hi all, Visiting Florida end of this month and wondered where the best place to attempt to see RC woodpecker might be? Thanks

    Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS

Beat me to it. I used the 150-600 Sigma C and S with a 1D mk3 a few years back and found that to be far more unweildy than this combination. The zoom action is fantastic and the lens feels very balanced. Coming from micro 4/3 it is a bit of a shock but when i think back to DLSR days it is a...

    Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS

Hi all, Surprised no one has started a thread for this lens yet, it seems to be a fantastic option for us wildlife photographers. Here is a first attempt with the lens attached to the A73. So far so good, next test is birds in flight.

New Hawke Binoculars - ED X

Very nice binocular to look through. However for me the Celestron Granite and Viking ED FF just edge it. That said, like the poster above I was surprised just how good they are compared to the Leica Trinovid!

    Sigma 100-400 f/5.0-6.3

Use it with the D7200 after a couple of years with the Fuji 100-400 and XT series cameras. I'm very very impressed, for the money its excellent value. A Chalkhill Blue butterfly attached. I'm still getting used to the camera let alone the lens so i'm sure better will follow in time.

    Norfolk birding

People are morons, especially those who dish out this kind of rubbish. They are usually the ones that would take most offence at being labelled with such derogatory terms. Your find gave a lot of people a lot of joy. Kudos to you.

    Norfolk birding

Popped out to see the Radde's Warbler at Warham yesterday afternoon. Parking was semi-sensible and the bird well observed by those present. Great to finally see a Radde's so well. Topped off a fine couple of days birding.

    Norfolk birding

The countryside teaming with birds this morning before the heavy cloud came over. 4 Turtle Dove, 2 Corn Bunting, Nightingale, scores of Blackcap, Whitethroat, Yellowhammer, Willow Warbler and Chiffchaff all looking, and sounding, fantastic in the warm sun. BOPS on show too with Red Kite...

    Fujifilm 100-400mm

Currently using a 1D mk 3 and 400 F5.6 with a combined weight of about 2.6KG. The 100-400 with the X-T1 will be about 1.7KG, so a noticeable reduction. It is also the size/portability which will be a huge benefit to me as I like to travel light when going abroad.

    Fujifilm 100-400mm

Glad someone has started the posting on this lens. Can't wait to get my hands on it in February and it will hopefully be the end of lugging around weighty DSLR kit. The fuji sensors ability to deal with large crops is also very attractive. As someone who has waited 2 years for a lens like...
