    Walking Boots

    I recently purchased a pair of Regatta X-LT they are brilliant. Waterproof, breathable and very lightweight (the main consideration for my feet is weight). They cost between £65 and £75 depending where you buy them. I would not buy anything else again these boots are that good. Cheers

    Securing my birdtable

    Due to the high winds on tuesday night I have been busy repairing my old bird table after it blew over :( A few nails to repair the roof which was easy, but how to stop it happening again? My son said 'easy dad - use tent pegs!' Genius, I drilled a 1/2 inch hole in each of the feet...

    Johnny Kingdom's Year with the Birds

    I agree. Nice to see a man whose love is the wildlife and he does the programme for his love of all things living. I recall seeing him reduced to tears when he lost his 3 legged dear, he was devastated. Loved all his shows since the early days - good to see he's stillmaking great programmes :t:

    Cheers for the offer, but, being a novice I wouldnt purchase without trying as I would want to compare models to see which suits me best. I'm sure these are first class and I hope you soon sell them on.

    Might seem a silly question either one of these better for a glasses wearer in your opinion? I dont have to wear my glasses but if its a dull dreary day they do help as I am short sighted. Cheers Again Darren
