    Foxglove Pug?

Can anyone confirm this is a Foxglove Pug but the โ€Šhebudium form? I do live in Scotland but on the east coast and there are Foxgloves in the garden not far from where it was photographed. Thanks in advance.

Montrose Basin and the surrounding area

Thanks burnie for that update! I'm going there on Sunday morning and was going to take my "big lens" to try for the Kingfisher, Great White Egret etc but I won't bother now. Will just stick to the VC

    Europe's Birds: An Identification Guide

Yes now I have all three! Here a few comparison photos of BB and EB together. All in all EB is fantastic with some great improvements to BB! I'm so glad they changed the main photo of the Tawny Owl as the one in BB always kind of annoyed me ๐Ÿ™ˆ

    Europe's Birds: An Identification Guide

Thanks for that Andy I'll keep them in mind for future purchases! I've always used NHBS for special nature books rather than Amazon. Even though you have to wait a tad longer they package the books properly and don't send you ridiculous amounts of cardboard in an order. I'm hoping it arrives at...

    Tayforth Birding

No we didn't go Delia as the hides are closed. What a coincidence about Magpies as I had one in my garden on Sunday! We have a pair that live locally and I actually quite like seeing them as they only started becoming more common here in the last 5 years or so.

    Tayforth Birding

I'm planning on visiting Kinnordy on Wednesday I take it it's open? Don't want to travel all that way to find it closed. This will be my first trip out of the house (aside from going to work) since February so a tad nervous what with Covid but have not been birdwatching for ages and miss Kinnordy.
