Kruger, South Africa - March 2022 - Tawny with mangoose?

I thought I had posted all the useful views. I realised the following one is of interest as it shows the prey looks quite dark. Darker than the egyptian mangoose. But it could be the shade. Or could be because of seeing a too small part of it.

Kruger, South Africa - March 2022 - Tawny with mangoose?

Three views of the same individual. I guess this is a Tawny. But I'm always afraid to confuse them with Walhberg's. Bonus question. Maybe off topic, as this is a birding forum (not a "mammaling" one). Is the prey a mangoose? Which one? Is there a site as good as birdforum but for mammals?

South Africa - March - Water thick knee with black eyes

Kruger, South Africa 06th of March Size of a Water thick knee. Looks like one too. Except for the eyes. 5:44am. Maybe it would cause the pupils to open wide and give this strange effect. Or is it just another bird?

In my memory it was slightly smaller than the usual lapwings. But I might be mistaken.

Size and colors of a swallow but the tail indicates it's something totally different.

Which lapwing? - Kruger, South africa - March 2022

It move silently through the grass and my telelens found only this single time its way through the twigs. This pic is all I have and is much better than what I could see with bare eyes. No sound.

Red bird - Kruger, South africa, March 2022

Resolved. I did a white balance on the white feathears from the tummy. Then the back and nape turned to pure green and grey. Clearly a Green-winged. You were totally right. This cast was so strong. Really took me off gard.

Red bird - Kruger, South africa, March 2022

I'm quite sure my screen is properly calibrated. On pictures from anybody else on the Internet, I do see proper grey and green. See comparison here. There could have been a strong rufousy cast that day, indeed.

Which lapwing? - Kruger, South africa - March 2022

Not Black-winged lapwing, as it doesn't have the red ring around the eye. Not African wattled Lapwing as the legs are reddish instead of yellow. I'm puzzled
