Kowa BD II XD 10x42 First Impressions then birder Review

Seeing as there's not many reviews of these binoculars from a birders point of view I thought I'd post one. It'll have to be a first impressions first before the review as I've only just opened them after finishing work at 8pm and I'll be stuck in work for another 12 hours tomorrow before being...

New EL 8.5 Soft bag bag no case?

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to double check that there wasn't something I missed and there was different versions or something. I've found they fit perfectly into a small shoulder camera bag I've had for years now. I've used it for binoculars before so I was hoping they'd fit nicely. it's got...

New EL 8.5 Soft bag bag no case?

I've just purchased some new New EL 8.5 W B online from Wilkinsons cameras which state they are the field Pro W B. I'd read some reviews dating back to a 2015 revision which I assumed was the latest model. However in the box there's no hard case just a soft pouch. I guess your paying for the...

    New 500mm and 600mm FL E Nikkors

I held the new 500mm FL at the Digital splash Photo show the other weekend. It felt extremely well balanced and very light. Its' out of my price range for now so I didn't bother trying, it was also very busy there. Looks to be a great lens.

    Anyone dealt with this firm.

Hi Max, I've used them for a number of items, big lenses and cameras and they've been great. Made a call to them once and got through straight away to an english person. Pay using bank transfer and save 3%, takes a little longer for the process but worth it on big items.

Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 EX DG OS APO HSM

I've not long since sold this lens. I previously owned a 300mm F4 L IS and 400mm F5.6 L but was finding I required both lenses at times as i'd miss closer wildlife with the 400mm having a long Minimum focus distance. The Sigma I thought would be the answer to my problems and give me extra reach...

Wheatear I.D, is it a greenland.

No they don't breed where I seen it, it's a perfect point for first touch down in the UK, right on the south coast, a few miles away from portland bill.
