    I've only seen this bird twice in my backyard, both times he flew in, stayed a few seconds and left with barely enough time to snap an image. Luckily I got this one of this beautiful specimen.

    This is an amazing shot, I try to shoot these little guys all the time and this is just a perfect shot, very well executed!! Love the blur of his wings to go with the tack sharpness of his head and body, really a magnificent image!

    A really lucky encounter to see this guy away from the feeder. I was able to get pretty close and he perched for 15 or 20 seconds and allowed me to get some shots of him. I don't get many brightly colored birds in my backyard and this one was just breathtaking.
