    Canon SX50 Specs

Those are the instructions I followed. Except that I don't get the last message of "Default settings are now restored" I just get "Busy" It ends with assuming that you get a successful result. There is nothing else.

    Canon SX50 Specs

I posted months ago looking for help on resetting my SX50 back to factory settings. I have tried with the LCD open and not (looking through the viewfinder) with and without a memory card. With memory card all I get is "Busy" without all I get is no memory card. I think last time the advice...

    Canon SX50 Specs

Hopefully this is the right thread. I don't actually use my camera much and don't know it all that well. I do find that I tend to accidentally mash a lot of buttons on the back with my right hand so that I suspect it is in all sorts of modes I don't understand. It recently has begun doing...

Advice for creating a map of locations

For awhile I've had this idea of putting all the US National Wildlife refuges, Important Bird Areas, National and State parks on a map, like Google Earth then add in other important places in order to determine where I might like to retire. Things like VA centers, college towns. Would I need...

    Nikon p600 and p530

There are some announcements out with some specs but I haven't bumped into any real hands on reviews yet. I thought some magazines and reviewers got cameras ahead of time for reviews? This one who discussed it but hasn't tested it yet...

    Panny FZ70 - 60x compact!

I have two batteries for my FZ 150. Are they the same batteries? I have found today that this is priced 140.00 less than the older Canon SX50 which makes me wonder if its not selling well or something.

    Canon SX50 Specs

Price? I've been poking along for months on the idea of upgrading to a long(er) zoom than my Lumix 24x. So I was comparing the new Lumix FZ70/72 (I don't think there was a 50x?) or the SX50 and was surprised to see that the Lumix which is new is over a 100.00 less on Amazon US than the Canon...

    Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ72 Review

FZ70 and FZ72 the same thing apparentlyyyyy Thanks for the review link if only to find out in the first paragraph that the FZ72 is also known as the FZ70 - and here I was getting all confused:-C Why the difference in numbers? Only the 70 is for sale on Amazon (US) and at 246.00 and change is...

    Panny FZ70 - 60x compact!

Any updates? And what was meant by the Leica lens comment? Did Leica make previous lens and they are using something else on this? I'm rather tired of my 24x Leica even though I don't use it much. Wondering whats coming up if anything or jump on this or the Canon

    Canon SX50 Specs

My current camera is a Panasonic Lumix FZ150. My previous camera was a Lumix older model as well. But two things have got me wondering whether I should switch to the Canon 50. One of course is the 50 zoom. The other is the FZ150 has focusing issues and I'm tired of it. I am once in awhile...

Mp3 type suggestions for birding by ear training

It seems to be that some of the actual "birding by ear" type training (Peterson's Thayer) etc. is still mostly available on CD and whats available on itunes is more id books/apps with songs for each bird. Since I have some cd's I would like to put them on an mp3 player of some sort. tried to...
