I am a doctor from Bangladesh, not practicing anymore. I was interested in research, so did a masters in molecular medicine at NTNU, Trondheim, Norway and currently working as a researcher in the same department.
Ever since I was a kid, I was very interested in wildlife as a result of watching a lot of programs on discovery channel. I used to fantasize about wearing a khaki shirt and a cap and be out and about experiencing the nature, I still do that. As a child growing up in a village, I had quite a lot of pet/tamed birds (pigeons, common myna, pied myna, jungle myna, red vented bulbul, spotted dove) over the years. Not really proud of how I handled it then instead of just having a feeder, but that does explain my obsession of birds.
I started birding seriously since November 2020 and the list is growing longer fast. I have been doing documentary photography for a long time now, so that gives me a slight advantage in bird photography.
I am very new to the field and expecting to learn a lot from this forum with the help and guidance from everyone.
