    I had a pair with sn 3310102 and these were from 2009, I'd have thought yours would be 2010 or younger.

    Ultravid 10x42 hd

    Email Leica customer services, they should be able to clarify. I recently enquired about the original Ultravid BR and they said these had 30 years warranty and it was transferable. Not sure about the newer HDs though...

    Yes, it's great place for watching birds, especially in winter. I am sure you will like it. You may consider buying yearly subscription - good value for money.
