    Thanks for that. Was just updating some old photos. The feet are not really dark. What I would call a french mustard on the outer edge and an English mustard underneath.

    Shieldbugs.

    Dolycoris baccarum eggs Spotted it laying eggs but by the time I had run in to get the camera it had trundled off. I was going to keep an eye on these and take more photos as and when the young emerged but, I forgot when I was weeding and pulled the plant out. We get a fair amount of these...

    Have no idea on these things. They seem to live in a comunal nest but each has its own seperate 'peek' hole. See one popping its head to the front. They do not come out any further. The second photo shows what they look like when taken out. (naughty me) One large hump on back and very large head...

    Any ideas please This is very similar to a Nezara viridula but it's not green and I found it on a thistle head in a wood in North Notts. Any ideas !
