    Thanks guys, we found the one Nick spoke of in about five minuets this afternoon. Cracking bird. Also Little Bittern on the north side of the main river(?) after the visitor centre.     One day in Amsterdam

    Of course I'm not looking for breeding sites, just like you said particularly good vantage points. From what I've read about goshawk display its done high above the forest and I don't believe you can Pin it down to a specific location. Don't worry, I'm not fishing for information on nest sites...
