    Hi, Kisbalaton is good for waterfowl mainly (ducks, geese, cormorant). I would recommend Kiskunsag area for birding, much closer to Budapest and much diverse habitats and birds there. Cheers

    Hi there, There are Little Egrets on the front, Great White Egret, and a Giant Egret on the back :), some Black-headed Gull and probably Yellow-legged Gull. Cheers

    We have thought about the origin of this bird as well, but we think he can come directly from N Africa, here was some weather front from that area, or from Spain because of the forest fires, who knows... Here are no data of Levant Sh since 2010. Have you seen the crane migration in Hungary also...
