    Recommend harness for 8x42 trinovids

I always use Badlands cases for my binos. The laser pointer on the left, and cell holder on the right. A zippered slot inside for your ID's card, energy bars etc... Comfort fit. Padded case. No flimsy cords/attachment around your binos. 100% free bino scanning action. Silent magnetic cover lock...

Any tips or info for transitioning to a Nikon d500?

Excellent combo D500+200-500 for wildlife shooting. But pay attention to its original Nikon lens hood. It falls down very easy. Very flimsy/bad lens hood design.

Changing from straight view to angled?

Strongly seconded, me too. I learned to use this cable-tie technic here few months ago. Always dead on the flying birds with my angled scope.

Swarovski CL companion 8x30 question about light gathering and eye relief

Since I had the CL Companion 8x30 few weeks ago, I use this bino case to bring the Companion with me for birding. No strap, no wires harness needed, at all. The bino is fully protected inside the padded case. No cumbersome straps when glassing. No swaro design or strap complaints. The swaro...

    Kowa 1.6 Extender

Hi wolfbirder, Did you try the "cable tie trick" on your 883? With this tierap trick, even with the 1.6x extender set at 40x, I can find and follow easily the heron, osprey and bald eagle in flight.

    Kowa TSN-82SV 21-63 (TE-9Z) or Nikon 20-60x82ED?

Through your comments, the good choice is for Nikon Monarch. I have Vortex Razor HD in my mind also, but it's over my budget. Thank you again.

    Kowa TSN-82SV 21-63 (TE-9Z) or Nikon 20-60x82ED?

Hi all. I want to buy one of these two scopes for my son's birthday. What has the best image quality and lesser CA between them? Many thanks for your help to make my choice.

    IBIS system good for digiscoping?

Hi all. Do yo know if the IBIS system (found on Canon, Sony, Nikon etc... bodies) works well when using our scope as a camera lens? Many thanks.

    TSN_883 lens hood sight built

Hi, I got my 883 this morning. Beautiful piece of glass. Newbie question. How to use the sight built on the lens hood to aim the subject? Where do I position my eye and my head to align the sight built to the subject and then look to the eyepiece? Many thanks.

    Camera strap recommendations please

I always use BOSSTRAP. So comfortable. And Your Tripod Socket is Always Available. http://bosstrap.com/ His strap is so smooth and comfortable like your car belt. Give it a try and you'll love it.

    Bird Photo Workflow in Lightroom

Go getting NIK Software suite (Pro Shaperner 3, Color Efex, ect...). It's free now. All the usual procedures like contrast adjusting, sharpening, local contrast, local sharpening etc... will be a charm and take a lot less time than cumbersome Lightroom/Photoshop proecedures.

    New Sigma 150/600

Hi Mark, I use this lens with D610 body, mounted on this Sirui monopod. My arms thank me. And far less cumbersome than the tripod. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1024710-REG/sirui_bsrp424s_carbon_fiber_monopod.html

Canon 7D Mk ii image quality - what am I doing wrong?

My Sigma 150-600 (nikon mount) is back focus all the usual focal lenght. I have to re-calibrate it using SpiderLens Cal target. And register these offset values into the lens using Sigma USB dock. Now, my sigma is dead on. Long and pain calibration procedures, but worth it.
