I have an interest in optics in general, and binoculars in particular nowadays.
Since moving out of the city to a small house with plenty of wildlife outside the window (literally) I use the binoculars quite frequently both on and off tripod.
As a former photographer (and part time dealer for some years) my interest in great optics have taken me on a long (and sometimes expensive) journey through optics from various manufacturers; Zeiss, Fuji, Pentax, Rollei, Leica, Canon and Nikon to name the most prominent.
Today my current setup is NO camera (!) and three binoculars; Zeiss Victory 8x25, Zeiss Victory FL 32T* and Meopta B1 Plus 15x56HD.
Former stable mates include smaller Zeiss, Leica and Swarovski binoculars and the odd spotting scope.
