    hi we have moved from a flat into a bungalow in gilesgate durham about 4 weeks ago..all we are getting on our feeders are jackdaw and cushits..no small birds whatsoever...what is the reson for this.

    two of my 3 nest boxes are continually visited on a regular basis...it appears one tit seems to be smoothing the hole with its beak...this is one peeping out...also one of the tits keeps chasing sparrows and blackbirds away from the nest box areas.

    james ive found a nice site for seeing the dippers..go from the dragonville area of gilesgate down benthouse lane(known localy as the black trodd) go to the very bottom there is a sort of wooden bridge over old durham beck,last year they nested under neath the bridge..i just sit on the nearby...
