grass hopper warbler seen and heard on the Rhyd-y-blew site about 6.00pm. Perched on the larger willow just north of the middle roundabout. 5 lapwing on Tuesday evening as well. I'm sure I heard a pheasant in the south west corner as well a couple of weeks back -

roundabout on bryn serth road - cuckoo heard then seen this evening in the small group of trees to the north west corner of the roundabout. got to within 10m of it. plenty of swifts and swallows feeding over the Rhyd y blew grassland over the past few weeks. Willow warblers (?) in the trees... -
